(KMOV) – Police arrested a woman accused of shooting at a car during an allegedly road rage incident in downtown St. Louis on Sunday.

According to police, the 44-year-old suspect was exiting Interstate 70 eastbound at the MLK Bridge exit around 11:55 p.m. when another driver drove into her lane and collided with her vehicle.

Police said the suspect followed the victim to N. 3rd St at Dr. Martin Luther King, where she blocked in the victim’s vehicle.

The suspect then got out of her car and told the victim she’d been hit. The victim apologized and drove away from the scene, police said.

Authorities said the suspect then got back into her car and started chasing the victim, firing two shots at his car.

Police said the victim then fled onto I-70.

Authorities said officers arrived on scene and arrested the suspect.
