(KMOV) – Authorities are looking for a suspect who cut a woman during an attempted robbery at a bus stop in south St. Louis late Monday night.
According to police, the 26-year-old victim was waiting for the bus at the intersection at Gravois and Juniata around 10 p.m. when the suspect approached her from the side and tried to take her cell phone.
The woman refused to give it up and the suspect cut her across the face with an unknown object.
The suspect then fled the scene on foot heading east on Gravois. The woman was taken to the hospital to be treated for a laceration and remains in stable condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
