Police: Suspect arrested after allegedly driving into officers in Metro-East

(KMOV.com) -- A driver is accused of intentionally bumping into a pair of police officer in the Metro-East.

East St. Louis Police said Darryl Robinson drove into a secured murder scene earlier in July.

Police reported when officer’s tried to arrest Robinson, he drove into an East St. Louis officer and Illinois State Police officer so he could get away.

Police said they caught Robinson this week.

The officers involved in the incident only suffered minor injuries, according to police.
