(KMOV.com) – Police say a man and his son shot up a north St. Louis County home with several women inside as part of a revenge plot.

Derek Carr Sr., 52, was arrested and charged charged with one count of unlawful use of a weapon. His son remains on the loose.

Authorities allege Carr and his son, Derek Carr, Jr., fired shots at a home in the 4600 block of Fletcher St.  in October. Police said the shooting was in response to someone firing shots at their home after a fight at a local park.

The victims told News 4 they are not sure why they were targeted.

News 4 has learned charges had been filed against both the father and son, but were dropped in March after a witness failed to appear in court. Only Carr Sr. was charged a second time.

If convicted, Carr, Sr. could face 15 years in prison. Police said Carr, Jr. could still be charged.
