FAIRVIEW HEIGHTS, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- Police say a road rage incident involving a loaded handgun ended with a suspect being Tasered and arrested on Wednesday afternoon.

According to police, a driver told 911 dispatchers a man had pointed a gun at him as he was traveling westbound on Interstate 64 from O'Fallon, Ill. The caller described the suspect's car to police, and the direction it was heading.

A short time later, authorities say a patrol officer spotted the suspect vehicle and stopped it near East O'Fallon Drive in Fairview Heights, Ill.

The suspect was then ordered to exit his vehicle. While officers were attempting to handcuff the man, police say he began resisting arrest, and was subsequently Tasered. The man was then taken into custody without further resistance.

In the course of the arrest, authorities say Pasterski was found to be in possession of a loaded handgun, cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
