Police: Nearly $2,500 in appliances stolen from Hillsboro home

(KMOV) -- Police are investigating after thousands of dollars worth of appliances were stolen from a new subdivision in Hillsboro.

According to authorities, nearly $2,500 worth of stolen appliances was reported missing by a homeowner in the subdivision located just east of Old 21.

Authorities say a new stainless steel fridge, glass top stove, and microwave were among the items reported stolen.

The victim reportedly fired several workers who she claims may possess the code to the lock box.

However, charges have yet to be filed.
