(KMOV) -- A man is dead after a stabbing Metro-East.
It happened around 9:00 p.m. on Thursday inside an apartment in the 3300 block of Franklin in East St. Louis, IL.
Police say Courtland Grant, 24, was stabbed in the chest by his 26-year-old girlfriend. Her name is not being released at this time.
The couple was reportedly arguing when the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed Grant.
He was found dead inside the apartment.
The suspect is in police custody but has not been charged.
