ST. CHARLES, Mo. (KMOV) – A man is accused of cutting his girlfriend’s wrists after punching her in the face in St. Charles on Sunday.
David Heitmann, 28, was charged Monday with two counts of third-degree domestic assault.
According to police, Heitmann was drunk when he punched his girlfriend in the face several times. He then picked up a razor and cut both of her wrists.
Police responded to the scene and arrested Heitmann, who remains in the St. Charles County jail on $20,000 bond.
Authorities said he was also told he can no longer contact his girlfriend.
