(KMOV) – A St. Louis man is accused of operating a meth lab inside a home where a child under 2 years old lived.

Anthony Brady, 28, was charged with first-degree endangering the welfare of a child, manufacturing a controlled substance, unlawful use of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and possession with intent to manufacture drugs.

According to court documents, police executed a search warrant at a home in the 8500 block of Minnesota on Jan. 9.

Police said while searching the basement, where Brady lives in with his girlfriend, officers found several water bottles with tubes containing a liquid believed to be used for making meth.

A 22-month-old child was also found at the home. According to police, the child was exposed to the bottles, which contained hazardous and highly flammable residue.

Police said Brady was in possession of a plastic bag containing meth. Authorities said he also had two boxes of pseudoephedrine, which police believe was used to make the drug.

Authorities said they found several other drug-making materials, including jars, plastic funnels, lithium batteries, measuring spoons, measuring cups and a digital scale.
