(KMOV.com) -- Springfield police say an AMBER Alert for an abducted 1-year-old girl has been canceled after the child was safely reunited with her family on Saturday night.

Harmony Blue was reportedly taken from a Save-A-Lot store in the 1100 block of E. Commercial St. in north Springfield around 1:30 p.m.

Authorities said the child was abducted by a white female with blonde hair, driving a stolen gray 2002 Nissan Maxima.

On Saturday night, police issued a statement on their Facebook page saying, "Harmony J. Blue has been found safe and is back with her family."

Many area cell phone users received text notifications about the AMBER Alert. The texts are part of a newly expanded wireless emergency alert system.

Police said an investigation will continue to determine who was responsible for the incident.
