ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Authorities are looking for multiple suspects who broke into and ransacked a home in south St. Louis Monday afternoon.

According to police, four men wearing bandanas broke into a home through a back door in the 3100 block of Meramec around 2:15 p.m.

They then went straight to one of the bedrooms, stole several items and fled the scene on foot.

Police said four adults were inside the home when the suspects broke in. A woman who lived at the home was hit in the face during the incident, but she was expected to be OK

A 4-year-old child at the home told police then men were after his or her mother’s marijuana.

Authorities said none of the suspects have been identified.
