Pizza delivery driver robbed in north St. Louis County

(KMOV.com) – A pizza delivery driver was robbed in north St. Louis County Tuesday night.

Police said the Dominos driver was robbed in the 10300 block of Lord in the Castlepoint neighborhood around 10:30 p.m.

The victim told police that he had just finished delivering a pizza and was returning to his car when a man with a handgun approached him asking for a cigarette and money. After receiving a small amount of cash and cigarettes, the suspect fled from the scene.

According to police, the suspect was described as a black male wearing a black skull cap, a black sweat shirt and dark black or blue pants.

The driver was not injured in the incident.
