University City double shooting leaves one dead, suspect at-large

 (KMOV) – One person was killed and another was seriously injured following a shooting inside a University City house Wednesday morning.

According to investigators with the University City Police Department, officers responded to the 8200 block of Paramount for a report of a shooting at 8:35 a.m. Upon arrival, officers located two women who had been shot inside the house.

Both were immediately rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries. One woman was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police are attempting to locate a man they say is responsible for the shooting. He has been identified as Joseph Price, 48, who stands at 5-feet-1-inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He is known to drive a 1984 blue Chevrolet pick-up truck with Missouri license plate OFT-197.

Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous. The weapon was not located at the scene of the shooting.
