(KMOV.com) – St. Clair County deputies said they have located a teenager they consider a person of interest in the hit-and-run death of a 9-year-old boy who was riding his bicycle.

Authorities said they located 17-year-old Kevin Powell some time Wednesday afternoon. Additional details regarding him being found were not immediately available.

Police were looking to talk with Powell in connection with the death of Fabian Teson, who was hit by a car while riding his bike along Lorraine Road near Cahokia last Thursday.

Teson later died at a St. Louis hospital.

Police found the vehicle that was involved in the hit-and-run on Laclede’s landing on Tuesday.

Authorities said the investigation is ongoing.
