ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) -- The "Amnesty Days" program returns to St. Louis Community College campuses next month, offering those with outstanding warrants a chance to pay their fines without penalty.
The program first offered amnesty only for traffic violations, but expanded last year to cover all misdemeanor warrants.
Better Family Life, Inc. (BFL) has organized the event for the past several years.
Roughly half of the 91 municipalities in St. Louis County take part in the program.
All "Amnesty Days" events are scheduled for these St. Louis Community College locations:
August 4 - Meramec
August 8 - Florissant Valley
August 11 - Forest Park campus
