(KMOV) -- Another First Student bus is stirring controversy after it was spotted without a license plate for the last week, and has gained attention of lawmakers.
On Thursday, News 4 received a photo from a Rockwood Elementary School Parent as she watched the bus waiting to take home kindergarteners.
The parent spotted the bus without a license plate on the bus and News 4 made several attempts to get in touch with First Student about the present issue.
No one returned the calls but Rockwood School District said the bus is not required to have a back plate.
It’s what’s known as a C-Plate, which means it can be used as a charter bus.
News 4 investigated and found that the bus is properly licensed and fully inspected under Missouri law.
