Operation Reveille looks to end homelessness among area veterans

St. Louis, Mo. (KMOV) – Wednesday morning St. Louis City kicked off Operation Reveille with a goal to end chronic homelessness for area veterans.

The city is partnering with local, state and national agencies to provide immediate supportive housing and services to homeless veterans it comes in contact with Wednesday. Starting at 8:30 a.m., homeless veterans can bring an ID, DD214 and SSA card to Soldier’s Memorial to kick-off Operation Reveille. 

Mayor Slay is hoping Operation Reveille will help St. Louis to become the first city to end homelessness among military veterans.

Operation Reveille will be paid for with federal grant money along with other local and private funds.
