ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – A man died Friday evening after a motorcycle accident near the intersection of River Des Peres and Gravois.
Police say Scott McPherson Jr., 19, of the 5100 block of Waldo, was traveling south on Gravois Road when an SUV, that was attempting to make a lefthand turn, hit him.
Officers say McPherson was thrown off his bike during the collision and was taken to a hospital, where he died.
It was reported that there were two adults and two children in the SUV, but no one sustained any injuries.
A memorial fund has been set up to assist the McPherson family with hospital and funeral expenses.
