ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A one-alarm kitchen fire broke out in a north St. Louis home Thursday morning.

According to reports, the fire started just before 11 a.m. in the 3800 block of Sullivan Avenue. Fire officials said the fire intensified quickly, but crews were able to get the fire under control.

No one was hurt in the fire and the fire department was able to rescue the dogs from the home.
