(KMOV) – Street parking will be banned in Forest Park during Fair St. Louis this year.
Officials say all parking on the street will be closed in the park between July 3 and July 5.
Event organizers say seven lots, including Central Field and Langenberg Field, will be used for parking. Outside parking lots at Washington University and Forest Park Community College will be utilized as well.
Officials say shuttles will be provided to bring park-goers to the fairgrounds. The cost of the shuttles will most likely be subsidized by parking fees.
More information on parking and road closures is expected to be released later this month.
