(KMOV) – Officials say they are in desperate need of volunteers to help with flood-relief efforts in Kimmswick.
According to city officials, the volunteers are needed to help sandbag to shore up a leak in a temporary levee in town.
Kimmswick EMA director Gary Paszkiewicz said if the levee breaks the entire town will flood.
Volunteers are asked to meet up at the Blue Owl or at the Windsor Harbor Rd. Bridge. Officials said drivers will have to get into the city using Montebello Rd. off Route 61/67.
