(KMOV.com) -- A St. Louis Police officer was injured after spotting a stolen vehicle at a gas station in North City. Police were able to arrest one suspect at the scene, but are still searching for the second.

According to authorities, an officer spotted a stolen car in the BP Gas Station on Kingshighway at Natural Bridge. The officer arrested the passenger of the vehicle.

When the driver exited the gas station he got inside the car and tried to drive away from the station, dragging the officer a short distance. The officer was said to only suffer minor injuries, but the condition is unknown.

The suspected driver then fled the scene and crashed at the intersection of Union and Natural Bridge. Police said he then fled on foot and the search is still underway for him.
