Number of IRS identity theft scams increase in St. Louis area

(KMOV) – The number of IRS identity theft scams have increased since February.

According to authorities, 36 new cases have been reported in St. Louis County.

Nine cases have been reported in Kirkwood, and there have been six in Webster Groves and Glendale.
