NORTH ST. LOUIS (KMOV) – Crews responded to a north St. Louis city church and find it fully engulfed in flames late Sunday night.
Flames broke out inside the Jesus Only Church of God on the corner of Newstead and Greer around 9:15p.m. officials said.
According to reports, several surrounding buildings were close enough to suffer some damage from the fire.
No injuries were reported. Witnesses say the church held a service there earlier in the day.
There is no word on how much damage the church suffered, but it is expected to be extensive.
Fire investigators are looking into the cause.
