(KMOV.com) - A Florissant man says his apartment is overrun with brown recluse spiders.

Darryl Hamilton says he's been killing the spiders since he moved into the Delrado Apartments in March.  Hamilton says exterminators have been sent but the spiders with a poisonous bite keep coming back.

“I’ve seen them everywhere man, not groups at a time, kill one here, one there, but the fact is they are brown recluse spiders, that’s what scares me,” Hamilton said.

News 4 sent pictures of the spiders from Hamilton’s apartment to the St. Louis Zoo and the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, both of whom said the spiders appear to be brown recluse spiders.

No one in the office at the apartments was willing to comment.

Hamilton says he hasn't been bitten but he'd like to get out of his lease and leave before that happens.
