(KMOV) –A north St. Louis County woman called News 4’s Mike Colombo after she arrived at her storage unit to find it empty without her knowledge.

Kathryn Pierce’s belongings were locked up at the U-Haul Storage Facility in North County but were later sold in an auction like in the show “Storage Wars.”

"I’m just trying to process the fact i have lost family heirlooms, family pictures, things my family handed down to me for safe keeping...that are now gone forever,"

When asked if Pierce received an explanation as to why her items were sold she said, “they said there wasn't a name on that storage unit and so they auctioned off the items; Which is very confusing to me because I moved my items into the storage locker that the U-Haul employee told me to move my stuff into."

She now wants the storage employees to end this storage war and make things right.
