(KMOV.com) -- St. Louis Police said they made 15 arrests and towed 25 motorcycles Sunday during the final day of the annual Ride of the Century.

According to police, 10 of the 15 arrests were for various traffic charges, while five people were arrested for operating stolen motorcycles.

Police said they set up more patrols after receiving reports of motorcycles going on sidewalks, running red lights and being involved in accidents.

Two riders died over the weekend; one in south St. Louis and the other in St. Charles County.

Police directed the ride differently than in years past. Officers were waiting along strategic points, including Interstate 44, as riders broke into groups and went in different directions instead of staying in one group.

St. Louis Police confiscated 25 motorcycles along the riverfront while they cited some of the drivers for performing stunts and not having current registration.
