(KMOV) – Saint Louis University’s brand-new law school building opened Friday in downtown St. Louis.
Several city and schools officials, students and alumni were on hand as Mayor Francis Slay cut the ribbon at Scott Hall located at 100 N. Tucker Blvd.
The renovated 12-story building includes several upgrades over the old law school building, including a 200-seat courtroom, a two-floor library and reading room and consultation rooms for clients.
The $30 million renovation also has a rooftop deck and a street-level restaurant dubbed the Docket.
The building was donated by Joe and Loretta Scott.
