FERGUSON, Mo. (KMOV)—A police chase that went through parts of St. Louis county ended up in north St. Louis after the car police were chasing ended up with its front wheel wedged into the ground of a small hillside on the front lawn of a church.
Police have not said yet why they were chasing the car, but several Ferguson police department squad cars were on the scene when the chase ended at McClaran & Goodfellow. That's a few blocks southwest of the Halls Ferry Circle.
Police on scene were able to take 4-5 suspects into custody after the vehicle became stuck in the front lawn of the New Northside Missionary Baptist Church. No injuries were reported.
No further information has been released.
