(KMOV) -- A toddler was found all alone inside a house with human and animal waste all over the place in a north St. Louis neighborhood, according to police.

Neighbors off Wren Avenue in north St. Louis were shocked to learn of charges against Natoyia Woods.

Police say they were investigating the house back in November when they discovered a 3-year-old girl alone inside with easy access to weapons, drugs and chemicals.

Once they made their way in, they noticed disgusting and dangerous conditions.

The little girl told police her mother was at her boyfriend’s house.

Woods is charged with felony child endangerment. Neighbors told News 4 she appeared to be a good mother of two kids.

It’s unclear exactly where the kids are now, but Wood has bonded out of jail.

If she’s convicted, Woods could get anywhere from one day to seven years behind bars.
