(KMOV) -- The Missouri Department of Transportation worker who was injured when his truck collided with a tractor-trailer is out of the hospital.
The accident caused a section of I-70 shut-down for more than 5 hours.
The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. on Friday on westbound I-70 at Zumbehl.
The MoDOT worker was injured when a tractor-trailer hit the MoDOT truck. The worker had been out on I-70 patching holes but was in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
The MoDOT worker was transported to a local hospital. He has been treated an released.
Crews had to pump out the contents of the tanker before they could move it.
