(KMOV.com) -- A Mo. lawmaker is fighting to keep his teaching job in the Francis Howell School District after being fired after what the district called a breach of contract.
The Francis Howell School District Board voted 5 to 2 to get rid of Spencer.
Spencer claims he asked for an unpaid leave of absence. He said he feels his republican views are a reason he was fired.
The Francis Howell School Board has not publicly addressed that claim.
