Crews repair 'significant' gas leak in south St. Louis

ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV) – Fire crews were called to the scene of a gas leak around 1:30 p.m. at 3150 S. Grand Wednesday.

Officials described the leak as "significant" and evacuated the immediate area, including Commerce Bank employees. 

The fire department left the scene around 3:00 Wednesday, as Laclede Gas arrived to fix the problem. 

The evacuation order was lifted a short-time later and no injuries were reported.
