PULASKI COUNTY, Mo. (KMOV) – A Pulaski County man is in custody after police say he was found with guns and drugs during a traffic stop on Interstate 44 on Thursday.
Shannon Hood, 33, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance.
Deputies said an officer conducted a traffic stop near the I-44 and Rt. H overpass after spotting a vehicle without a front license plate.
During the stop, Hood admitted his driver’s license was suspended.
The officer then spotted a gun near Hood, who also had drug paraphernalia and a baggy with a white powdery substance believed to be about two grams of meth.
Hood was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County Jail, where he remains on a $10,000 bond.
