(KMOV) -- One Powerball ticket sold in Missouri matched all six numbers drawn Saturday night to win the $96.5 million jackpot, the sixth largest jackpot prize ever won in Missouri.
The winning numbers were: 13, 28, 31, 55, 58, and the Powerball number was 15.
“When the jackpot winner comes to Jefferson City, we will explain the claim process and other decisions they will need to make,” said May Scheve Reardon, Executive Director of the Missouri Lottery. “We want the winner to take his or her time in getting the proper legal and financial advice before they come to our Jefferson City office. It is also wise to tell as few people as possible at first, so you have uninterrupted time to make important decisions and arrangements.”
The Missouri winners have 180 days to claim these prizes. The $96.5 million jackpot winner can select to get the jackpot prize in 30 graduated annuity payments or in one lump-sum payment. If no choice is made in 60 days, the jackpot is automatically paid in 30 payments.
The $1 million winner will get his or her check as a one-time cash payment.
The last time a Powerball jackpot was won in Missouri was on Christmas three months ago, when a Kansas City couple won a jackpot worth $71.5 million.
To date, Missouri has sold 29 Powerball jackpot tickets, the second-most of all states that participate.
