GODFREY, Ill. (KMOV) – A Godfrey woman is accused of having sex with a child under the age of 13 in mid-August.
Romanita Rogers, 20, was charged Friday with predatory criminal sexual assault of a child.
According to police, Rogers had sex with the victim at a home in the 5600 block of King Arthur Lane on August 12.
Police investigated the incident after a parent of the victim reported their suspicions to authorities.
Rogers was arrested Thursday and remains in custody on a $100,000 bond.
