(KMOV.com) – A fund has been set up to help the mother of two Granite City children who were killed in a wreck in Jefferson County Saturday.

According to police, a Dodge Ram pickup truck was traveling on Route A near Old Route A around 4:45 p.m. when it struck a Chevy Cavalier turning left at the intersection.

Bryliegh Green, 4, and Ethan Price, 11, were both passengers in Cavalier and died. Their mother, Theresa Godwin, was hospitalized and remains in critical condition.

Friends of Godwin’s started a fund to help pay for the children’s funeral arrangements and her medical expenses. More than $14,000 has already been donated.

“You rarely found them separated,” wrote Aleta Arms, who started the fund. “Little Bryleigh loved her big bother so much, as he felt the same for her. May they rest in peace hand in hand.”
