GRAVOIS PARK NEIGHBORHOOD, Mo. (KMOV.com) -- A man was shot at by two suspects Thursday evening during an attempt to steal the victim's car.

Police say two men in their mid 20's, wearing dark clothing approached the victim while he was getting out of his car around 7 p.m. Thursday on the 3100 block of Halliday.

The 26-year-old man tells police he got back in his car and one of the suspects attempted to open the cars door. The suspect then pulled out a handgun and shot one round at the victim through the car door.

The suspects fled north on Virginia. The victim suffered a minor cut to his upper chest.
