ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV.com) – A 29-year-old man was hospitalized after an early Thursday morning shooting in north St. Louis.

Police said the shooting happened around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of North Grand Boulevard and North Market Street.

The man told authorities he was standing in the street when someone in a vehicle drove by and opened fire.  He suffered a graze wound to the leg. 

Emergency crews responded to take the victim to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Police have not yet named any suspects, but are looking for the vehicle believed to have been involved.  The suspect vehicle is described as a late 90's model, burgundy Chevy Monte Carlo.

Anyone with further information regarding this case is asked to call police.
