Man suffers seizure, crashes at south St. Louis County golf course

Police say a 73-year-old man was driving on Meramec Bottom Rd. just after 7 a.m. when he had the seizure and struck a crossing bridge at Quail Creek Golf Course.

(KMOV) – An elderly man crashed into bridge at a south St. Louis County golf course after suffering a seizure Wednesday morning.

Police say the 73-year-old man was driving on Meramec Bottom Rd. just after 7 a.m. when he had the seizure and struck a crossing bridge at Quail Creek Golf Course.

Golfers teeing off at a nearby hole heard the commotion and rushed to the victim’s aid. He was transported to the hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

No other injuries were reported.
