ARNOLD, Mo. (KMOV.com) – Police said a 20-year-old man suffered a gunshot wound to the face after an altercation in Arnold, Missouri early Thursday.

Authorities said the victim was sitting in his car in an apartment complex parking lot around just after 12 a.m. when two men approached.

Police said the victim and the two men got into some sort of argument and one of the suspects pulled out a pistol.  That suspect then aimed the weapon at the victim and it went off, striking the man in the face.

Emergency crews responded and took the victim to St. Anthony’s Hospital with what appeared to be non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as white males, 18-20 years of age with short, dark-colored hair.  At the time of the shooting, one suspect was wearing a black t-shirt with shorts.  The other was wearing a white t-shirt with long pants.

The two men were last seen running from the parking lot.
