(KMOV) – Authorities arrest the driver after he struck and killed a pedestrian early Friday morning in west St. Louis city.
Police tell News 4, Brandon Jennings, 26, was walking across the 6500 block of Manchester when he was struck by a Honda Accord around 3 a.m.
Jennings was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 26-year-old male driver was arrested on scene for driving while intoxicated. No formal charges have been filed.
The investigation is ongoing at this time.
