AFFTON, Mo. (KMOV) – The quick actions of a teller foiled a robbery at the South Community Credit Union in Affton on Tuesday.
Witnessed said a man wearing all black clothing and a white bandana walked into the credit union near the intersection of Union and Gravois around 10:40 a.m.
The customer said the suspect shoved her and told her to get away. The suspect then started walking towards the teller’s window.
According to police, the teller saw the man’s face was covered and hit and alarm button before running away from the window.
The customer said the suspect then turned around and ran out of the building.
According to police, the suspect was last seen on Pilot wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with a silver dragon on the back.
No injuries were reported.
