ST. LOUIS, Mo. (KMOV)—A 58-year-old man is in custody after he reportedly shot an unidentified man to death Wednesday night in downtown St. Louis.
Police say the Willie Robinson of the 1100 block of Washington Avenue and the victim got into an argument earlier in the night on the 800 block of 11th Street, where the victim allegedly assaulted the suspect.
The argument rekindled again at 11 p.m. when the suspect pulled out a gun and shot the victim once in the chest.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police believe the victim is homeless due to a lack of identification found on him.
Robinson is charged with murder and armed criminal action.
The investigation is ongoing.
