ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Police are looking for the man they believe shot another man in south St. Louis during an argument over drugs.

According to authorities, the shooting happened near the intersection of Keokuk Street and Virginia Avenue.

The 26-year-old victim told officers he got into an argument about drugs with the suspect.  The suspect is 18-year-old and is known by the victim.  The victim started riding away on his bicycle and that is when police say shots rang out.  The victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his leg.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and took the victim to an area hospital where he was treated and released.

Police have not released the identity of the suspect, but say they know who he is and are currently attempting to locate him.
