HILLSBORO, Mo. -- A St. Louis-area man has been sentenced to three years in prison for hiding a video camera in the ceiling of a grocery store’s women’s bathroom.

Frank Fuchs, 51, of Cedar Hill pleaded guilty to invasion of privacy and was sentenced Friday.

According to deputies, officers in July were called to the Price Shopper in the 4600 block of Gravois in House Springs after an employee found a camera in the ceiling of a female restroom.

The employee identified Fuchs from photos obtained from the recording device. Employees detained him until deputies arrived and took him into custody.

The Associated Press contributed to this report.
