(KMOV.com) -- Two men have been arrested after police said the men shot and tried to rob a man in north St. Louis Sunday afternoon.
Police report the shooting happened near the intersection of Shreve and Farlin avenues around 4:40 p.m. The 46-year-old male victim told police that two men approached him and attempted to rob him. The victim resisted and was shot in the back by one of the suspects.
A description of the suspects was broadcast to police units and the suspects were taken into custody shortly after the incident.
The victim was taken to an area hospital. Doctors said the victim is stable.
