(KMOV)--Crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest after a man and woman were found shot to death in an East St. Louis home.

The victims are identified as 20-year-old Araybia Moore and 21-year-old Darnell Turner, Sr. They were found shot to death in the home Turner rented in the 1300 block of Market Avenue. His friend Moore, who was a woman missing from Belleville, was found alongside him, both with gun shot wounds to the head. The two apparently had been dead for more than a day.

The man's landlord discovered the victims on a couch late Monday night.

Family last reported seeing either of the victims early Sunday.

More than a dozen detectives from the Major Case Squad hit the streets interviewing the victims' family members and neighbors.

Crime scene detectives carried multiple bags of evidence out of the home and photographed a car left in front of the murder scene.

Police originally thought the woman killed was also pregnant but an autopsy has confirmed that is not the case.

Sergeant Hundelt of the Major Case Squad says they are still following leads and interviewing many people.

Anyone with information should call the East St. Louis Police Department and ask for the Major Case Squad at 618-482-6767.
