(KMOV.com) – A man was killed in a fire at a north St. Louis County home on Sunday.
According to officials, the fire broke out at a home in the 2400 block of Bristow in Charlack just before 10:30 p.m. Shortly before the fire broke out, neighbors said they heard an explosion. Authorities said neighbors were then asked to evacuate because the flames started to burn the siding on their homes.
Authorities said they broke down the front door and found the victim's body in the front room of the house. He has not been identified.
St. Louis County Bomb and Arson is investigating the cause.
