Granite City Steel credit union
GRANITE CITY, Ill. (KMOV.com) -- A man is in custody after allegedly robbing a Metro-East credit union Friday afternoon.
Police say the suspect took an undisclosed amount of money and fled from the Granite City Steel Credit Union at 20th and Lee.
Witnesses quickly called the police, and officers captured the suspect a few blocks from the scene.
Police have not released the identify of the suspect, and no charges have yet been filed.
